BENTON, Ky. -- Thelma Crawford Johnson, 84, died Dec. 29, 2012, at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She was the daughter of the late Prentice Estel and Ada Grissom Crawford and was of the Methodist belief.
She married H.C. Johnson who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jewel Crawford and Clyde Crawford, two sisters, Ruby Oliver and Joy LaVell, and one granddaughter, Brandy Brown Clark.
She is survived by: four daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Bob Taylor of Sikeston, Mo., Diane and Delmer Brown of Lohman, Mo., Terry and Dan Reside of Springfield, Ill., and Kathy and Van Rudolph of Calvert City, Ky.; one brother, Bobby Crawford of the state of Michigan; one sister, Velma Ruth Litchford of Sikeston; and six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Jan. 1 at the Collier Funeral Home in Benton with Dr. Eddie Bromley officiating.
Burial followed in the Calvert City Cemetery.
