SIKESTON -- Raymond Edward Price, 83, died Feb. 1, 2013, at Missouri Delta Medcial Center.
Born July 4, 1929, in Brilliant, Ala., son of the late Noah and Rosa Arizona Burns Price, he was a resident of the Sikeston area most of his life. He was a farmer and had worked at Sikeston Concrete and later as a field mechanic for Missouri State Highway Department. He was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.
On March 11, 1950, at Charleston, he married Martha "Evelyn" Burns, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James and Jeanie Price of Sikeston; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jo Ann Lambert of Troy, Ill., and Janie and John Hazel of Sikeston; and six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston with his grandson, Westley Hazel, minister of Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah, Tenn., officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
