Allen pled guilty to child molestation charges on Jan. 10

CHARLESTON -- A former East Prairie church pastor has been sentenced to 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to child molestation charges.

Kenneth Neal Allen, 36, former church pastor of Grace Apostolic Church in East Prairie, pled guilty on Jan. 10 to two counts of first degree child molestation in a court of law in Scott County where he had been awarded a change of venue, according to a news release from Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore. Allen was sentenced to 11 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Allen was accused of inviting children into his home in East Prairie and victimizing them once they were inside his residence.
