Local community leader Kenny Dement dies

SIKESTON -- Kenneth Lee Dement, a former Sikeston community leader and attorney, died Friday at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was 80.

He was born on Feb. 13, 1933, in Poplar Bluff to the late Charles and Ada Hudson Dement.
