Miner did major good job

I would like to say to the employees of the city of Miner for clearing off our roads on this last snow. You did a great job. I appreciate all the long cold hours you put in. Just wanted to let you know you are very much appreciated.

Snow daze

This is pertaining to the article "Like it or lump it." Yes, we do work and we would like to be able to get out in Morley on the snowy days. We also would like to know how come we are paying all these taxes, we are about to be taxed to death on city taxes. Every time you are late on your water bill you're taxed. Every time you're late on your city taxes you are penalized. What are they doing with that money? Set that aside and buy a plow with it. And furthermore, Cousin Carl lives on a state road so he's good to go. He does live outside the city limits, that's true. He lives on a state road, but not everybody can live on a state road. For one thing, there has to be farmland west of here, 'cause if it wasn't for the farmers we wouldn't have food to eat and clothes to wear. I think Morley ought to use all this extra money they are charging and put it toward a snow plow for next year. The school bus couldn't even get through the streets because the snow was so deep. That wasn't fair to the children to have to walk to catch the bus because it couldn't get down the street. Since Cousin Carl owns the radio station up in Cape, why don't he buy a snow plow for Morley, and have him drive it and clean the streets? And if they can't get a snow plow, why don't they hire th
