Who pays the insurance?

I am trying to find out about homeowner's insurance. Do I have to pay the homeowner's insurance if I rent the house or does the owner have to pay the insurance?

From what I understand, the person that owns the house is responsible for the insurance on the dwelling and the renter is responsible for the contents.

God saves, not preachers

This is to "Spread the word," I don't know what world you come from, but preachers don't save people, God does. You need to get in church somewhere and find out what you're talking about before you call SpeakOut.

Partied till midnight

This is a comment regarding a wedding on May 30 at night. Congrats to the couple who had their wedding until midnight and had the permission of the Sikeston Police Department to play loud music until midnight. May you have a wonderful life, but my life was annoyed by your loud music because a lot of people had to work the next morning. I thought there was a noise ordinance, but maybe just for some, not others.

Time's up

There's a yard sale sign that's been up in Morehouse for over three weeks on Bates Street. People need to start cleaning up and getting rid of their signs when the sale is over. Take down your signs. This is pretty ridiculous. Time's up.

Stay in town

There used to be no houses for sale in New Madrid, but now every street you go down there are houses for sale by owners and realtors. I'm just wondering why so many people are moving away. I hate to see all the people moving. It's a good town with good people. I hope they stay.
