The last class of sixth grade students to attend A.D. Simpson School stand in front of the iconic school building on the last day of school May 22. The 63-year-old building named after a former Charleston R-1 educator and superintendent will be repurposed as a computer lab and house the special education department and in-school suspension program in the 2015-16 school year.
