I have the stats

For the person who was wanting information on the Memorial Day Weekend Tournament in New Madrid, I have the information. You can reach me at 404-993-7006.

Answer blowing in the wind

The problem is that regardless of what people say the Confederate Flag means to them, the overwhelming majority view it as a decisive symbol. If I tell you that sticking my middle finger up at you means "hello friend," you're probably still going to be taken aback when you see me do it, even if I genuinely meant it different than how you interpreted it. I am happy the flag was taken down over state government buildings. We are Americans, not Confederate Americans. With that being said, in no way do I think the flag should be banned outright. Same with the swastika, a rainbow flag, a pirate flag, what have you. Even if they're flown with the best of intentions, we'll all make our own judgments and move on. Lastly, let's not turn this into a liberal versus conservative thing. You're 0-for-2 with blanket statements in the past two weeks. Ask Mitt Romney how liberal he is. Ask Governor Nikki Haley how liberal she is. Granted, the majority of people rallying to pull the flag down are likely to be liberal, but when a couple of high-profile Republicans state that it's time to bring it down, I think it's a copout to portray it as us versus them.

Offensive state of America

I was just thinking the moral majority of the United States may have to offend some people to save the USA.

Not so beautiful

How can the city of Sikeston allow somebody to put in an automobile junkyard, along with makeshift buildings, across the street from the Cream Castle? What happened to the beautification program? Where is code enforcement?
