Sikeston soccer team swept at Kickapoo shootout

SPRINGFIELD -- The Sikeston soccer team were shutout in three games during the Kickapoo Shootout in Springfield this weekend.

They lost 5-0 to host Kickapoo on Friday, 7-0 to Jefferson City and 5-0 to Smith-Cotton, the No. 2 ranked team in Class 3.

Sikeston (4-13) will host Fredericktown today with junior varsity starting at 5 p.m.
