Charleston R-1 School District's Special Services Department kicked off their fundraiser during October "Disability History and Awareness" month. The Special Services teachers will be selling wristbands to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Missouri Special Olympics. The wristbands with the words "I Support Law Enforcement" are $2 each and are available from any Charleston Special Service teacher. In addition, wristbands can be purchased from the A.D. Simpson building office or by calling 683-6250. Checks should be made out to: Charleston R-1 School District. Pictured are Special Service teachers: Amy Brown, Heidi Jones, Amanda Cain, Stephanie Grimes, Laura Coon, Judith Hahs, Sarah Corse, Tom Graham, Pam Hoppe and Carla Bell (Director of Special Services). Also participating are Ann Marshall and Vicky Woods.
