Hold off on holiday

I am looking at the picture in Sunday's paper of the Chamber in East Prairie decorating for the Christmas tree lighting. Come on towns in the surrounding areas, have you forgot that Thanksgiving is before Christmas? Come on give Thanksgiving a chance. I think it is terrible to decorate for Christmas and plain stupid to have a tree lighting before Thanksgiving. I think it is terrible that Thanksgiving has lost its meaning. We need to go back and have a holiday of Thanksgiving before we start in on our decorating for Christmas and the stores having Christmas out before Thanksgiving.

I have a question about the Friday, Nov. 6, paper. There are these people like Christopher W. Morrison, who says he lives in Vanduser and is charged with statutory rape. We don't even know that person. And don't even know where he lives. And this Tawny Divietro of Vanduser? She doesn't even live here in Vanduser. How is that they can just put an address down and do not live in Vanduser or haven't been there?
