Sloan - Williams

SIKESTON -- Courtney Michelle Sloan and Ira Lee Williams were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. ceremony March 1, 2008, at New Hope Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Paul Swilley, pastor, officiated. Vocalist was Ivy Clinton.

The bride the is the daughter of Jim and Angie Sloan of Sikeston, and the bridegroom is the son of Dock and Stella Williams of East Prairie The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Tiffany Towe of Sikeston. Flower girl was Destiney Sloan, daughter of Chris Sloan of Sikeston.

Serving as best man was Sammy Williams of East Prairie. Jacob McClain, son of Brenda and Chalk McClain of Blodgett, was ringbearer.

Candlelighters were Ivy and Shae Clinton.

A reception followed at the church, where guests were served by Mallery Delisle of Sikeston and Jackie Forrest of Lexington, Ky.
