Recipe search

I am looking for a recipe for processing dried fruit, especially apricots. Please put your number in the paper and I will call you.

Where do they find these jurors who think it's all right to commit murder, rape, sell drugs and so forth? The lawyers who represent them are as low life as the ones who commit the crime. How could anyone not find Jason Williams guilty of murder when he admitted he shot the limo driver? It seems if you are black and excel in sports you can get by with anything.

I'm the one who commented about trash in the city and I was calling about East and Malone, not Main Street. However, I've seen it on Main Street as well.

We apologize for the error.

On May 3 there was a SpeakOut article, "Trash not a plus for town." I agree with this caller completely. Sikeston needs to have a clean-up campaign for trash in the streets. When coming into town, our city and Miner needs to look neat and clean to attract other people to live here. We are getting to be known as "Billboard City." When you come into Sikeston from Interstate 55 South, all you can see is billboards. This is tacky. I have traveled in several other cities and states and most people enjoy seeing is trees, flowers and nice cut grass as you drive into town. It makes a very good first impression of the town. You think, "Oh, what a beautiful town."

Beautiful yards are a very good start for beautiful cities. But we need to do more than yard work to make a beautiful city.

I am calling about the bus on Missouri Street. The bus runs at the same time every day, so parents know to have their children out there. Secondly, if you don't live on Missouri Street, it's none of your business anyway.

I am trying to find some blueberry plants. Does anyone know where I can get some? Are there any nurseries locally or in Cape Girardeau that sell them?
