Deborah Buchanan

SCOTT CITY - Deborah Lynn Buchanan, 48, died Dec. 1, 2004, at her home.

Born Sept. 24, 1956, in Aurora, Ill., daughter of Harold Vaughn of Oglesby, Ill., and Mary Johnson of Scott City, she was employed in central services for Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

On July 7, 1977, in Scott City, she married Dwight "Buck" Buchanan who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: two daughters, Megan Palmer of Scott City and Lindsay Aycock of Sikeston; four sisters, Lenda Markowski of St. Charles, Sue Stulgin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sandy Estes of Scott City and Betsy Kurilo of Camas, Wash.; her maternal grandfather, Les Grah of Scott City; and two grandsons.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at 1 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Revs. Dennis Bell and Mark Carbaugh will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
