CHARLESTON - Diane Bryant and Thomas Moore are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 5:31 a.m. Jan. 15, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Thomazjia Mo'Nique Nicole Bryant weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and was 18-inches long.

Maternal grandmother is Georgia M. Bryant of Charleston.

Paternal grandmother is Barbara "Sally" Moore of Charleston.

SIKESTON - Rachel Carr and Derrick Hall are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 6:41 a.m. Jan. 21, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Dashia Tyshel Nicole Hall weighed 5 pounds and was 18-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Dianne Howton and Greg Carr.

Paternal grandparents are Donna Riggens and Troy Riggens.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - David Martin and Christina Ann Busch are the parents of their second child, first son, born at 10:18 p.m. Jan. 21, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Aren Martin Busch weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces and was 22 1/2-inches long.

The former Christina Bullock, Mrs. Busch is the daughter of Norma Coffel of Christopher, Ill., and Bill Bullock of Johnston City, Ill.

Busch, son of Alice and George Bush of Hoopesten, Ill., is production manager for Cott Beverages.

SIKESTON - Abhilash Kanubhai and Faith Galliano Desai are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 1:11 p.m. Jan. 22, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Alexander Galliano Desai weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Desai is the former Faith Galliano, daughter of Loretta Galliano and Pasquale Galliano of Philadelphia, Pa.

Desai, son of Saroj Desai and Kanubhai Desai of Philadelphia, is a geriatric psychiatrist.

BLUE SPRINGS - Tara and Justin Taylor are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born Jan. 22, 2003. Lauren Jane Taylor weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21-inches long.

Grandparents are Pat and Steve Taylor of Sikeston and Marilyn and Kent Swisher of Liberty.

SIKESTON - Roy and Angie Davis are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 6:07 p.m. Jan. 22, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Thomas McClay Davis weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Davis, daughter of Larry Clay and Sharon McMikle, is a programmer for Steward Steel.

Davis, son of Roy R. and Linda Davis and the late Jill Thomas, is a veterinary technician for the Animal Health Center.

KENNETT - John and Emily Nelson are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 1:13 p.m. Jan. 23, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Adelynn Hope Nelson weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Nelson is the daughter of Cindy Nelson and Croug Nelson of House Springs. She is a receptionist at Custom Steel in Kennett.

Nelson, son of Dorothy Nelson and Johnny Nelson of Kennett, works in maintenance for Trinity of Caruthersville.

ORAN - Johnnie Paul and Traci Dawn Shands are the parents of their second son, born at 9:48 p.m. Jan. 24, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Dane Kristian Shands weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20-inches long.

The former Traci Patterson, Mrs. Shands is the daughter of Leon and Sandra Patterson of Oran and is employed by St. Francis Medical Center.

Shands, son of James and Pauline Shands of East Prairie, is employed by the Steward Steel Door and Frame Division.

BENTON - Amanda K. and Charles J. Wells are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 7:17 p.m. Jan. 24, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Charles Jacob Wells Jr. weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was 18-inches long.

Mrs. Wells is the daughter of Ronnie and Alice Middleton.

Wells, son of Carolyn Wells and Mike Hawkins, is a roofer.

BELL CITY - Amanda Jean Carpenter and Ricky Lynn Hill Jr. are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born Jan. 27, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Felicity Paige Hill weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 1/2-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Velma Luella Carpenter and Randy Lee Carpenter. Hill, son of Sandra K. Meador and Dennis Meador, is a plastics and tools worker.

CHARLESTON - Jemisha Bell and T.C. Williams are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born Jan. 28, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Natalyia C'onia Williams weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Annie Bell and Jerome Bell of Sikeston.

Williams, son of T.C. Williams and Flora Jean Williams, is employed by Sonic Drive-In in Charleston.
