McDonald rolls to Super Pro win

SIKESTON -- Cape Girardeau's Dave McDonald posted his first Super Pro win of the season on Saturday night. He ran 6.28 on a 6.24 dial at 103 m.p.h. His reaction time was .507. Points leader Ron Simmons took second place with a 6.27 dial. He ran 6.27 at 108 m.p.h. His reaction time was .569.

Points leader Darrell Jones seems unstoppable as he posted yet another win in the Pro Class. Jones ran 8.67 on a 8.65 dial at 77 m.p.h. His reaction time was .583. Second place went to Troy Zimmerman, from Carbondale, Ill. He ran 7.02 on a 7.04 dial at 91 m.p.h. His reaction time was .540.

John Carden posted his first E.T. win of the season with a 7.86 dial. He ran 7.87 at 86 m.p.h. His reaction time was .537. Second place went to Tre Hammontree from East Prairie. He ran 8.10 on a 8.11 dial at 82 m.p.h. His reaction time was .515.

In the Dixie Door Slammers, Renny James took first place and Donald Johns from Summe Town, Tenn. took second.
