BLOOMFIELD - Larry "Joe" Williamson, 57, died Jan. 22, 2005, at his home.

Born Jan. 8, 1948, in Idalia, son of Cozette Hester Williamson of Essex and the late Parvin Williamson, he was of the Baptist belief. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, he received the Vietnam Campaign Medal and Combat Action Ribbon. He was a former employee of the Triangle PWC Wire Co. where he worked as a fork lift operator.

On Dec. 26, 1970, in Bloomfield, he married Lynn Aslin who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Mary Williamson of Dexter; one sister, Wilma McGuire of Essex; one brother, Parvin Williamson of Dexter; and one granddaughter, Kodie Williamson.

One brother, Timothy Williamson, also preceded him in death.

Visitation is after 10 a.m. Wednesday until time for services at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Ron Dunavin of Bloomfield will officiate.

Burial with full military honors will follow at 2 p.m. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
