Emma Hayes

COLUMBIA - Emma Hayes, 73, formerly of Sikeston, died Feb. 14, 2003, at her home.

Born June 28, 1929, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Elisha and Fern Bennett Moore, she was a caregiver for Kelly Assisted Living in Columbia before retiring.

Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Robert and Brenda Blevins of Columbia; one brother, Marshall Moore of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Jason Robert of Cape Girardeau and Shaun Blevins of Columbia; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Hayes; one brother, James Moore; and one sister, Mattie White.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
