Reba Ryan

SIKESTON - Reba Ellison Ryan, 78, died Jan. 9, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born April 3, 1924, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., daughter of the late Ruben McClellan and Martha Lindsey Ellison, she was a member of North Acres General Baptist Church. She worked for the International Shoe Factory and was co-owner of Ryan Construction before retiring.

On Dec. 24, 1943, she married Billy C. Ryan who preceded her in death on July 9, 1994.

One son, Billy C. Ryan Jr., also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one granddaughter, Monica Walker of Nashville, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Elise Ellison of Sikeston.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
