Edward Piper

SIKESTON -- Edward C. Piper, 71, formerly of Bloomington, Ill., died at 2:35 p.m. March 1, 2005, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston.

Born June 5, 1933, in Eureka, Ill., he was the son of the late Harry and Mildred Hoyte Piper.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Darren Miller of Oran and Myra and Mark Weiland of Bloomington; and three sons and one daughter-in-law, Edward J. Piper and Adam Piper of Bloomington and Benjamin and Jenny Piper of Secor, Ill.; two brothers; two sisters; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

No visitation is scheduled and private family services will be held.

Burial will be in the Park Hill Cemetery at Bloomington.

Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
