Call 471-6636

For the person who called in fear of snakes getting into her house, she can throw moth balls all around her house and under her house, she will not be bothered with snakes. She will find that will certainly help her.

I would like to know why the Murray Lane veterinarians aren't in. I took my animal there and they were closed. Why is the Murray Lane Animal Hospital closed?

Dr. Kyle Ouzts, who operated the Murray Lane Animal Hospital and Stoddard Animal Clinic, 13515 N. Locust St. in Dexter, has closed the Sikeston office. You can call (573) 624-5505 for information or to make an appointment. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. The office is closed on Thursday and Monday.

Where was SpeakOut?

I called in a couple of weeks ago with a comment about a convenience store on the south end of town about the high gasoline prices by the "Welcome to Rodeo" fans. I said you could drive into town and buy gas for about 12 cents cheaper. I didn't name any businesses by name. Why didn't you print it? thanks for nothing.

Every time gas prices go up, we get inundated with calls. SpeakOut can't do anything about the prices vendors charge for gasoline.

Gas prices, service stations can hear about problems in Japan or any other foreign country that has nothing to do with the United States and raise prices to whatever they want them to be. In the United States, all that is called (in my book) is robbery without a gun. Our officers in office will go along with it because most of them own oil wells just like our President and Vice-President of the United States. Is that right or is it wrong?

I would like to SpeakOut and tell all senior citizens and disabled voters to remember to vote against Holden for governor. He is a sorry piece of you-know-what. He has taken all the programs away from us, including dental and medication. Look at what he has done for our schools! My God, look at what he promised us before he was elected, and all he has done is fill his pockets with his tax dollars. Look at our roads. I don't know of anything he has done for Missouri, but put the state more in the hole.
