SCOTT CITY - Lloyd Eugene Zimmerman, 72, died Dec. 27, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 17, 1932, in Fornfelt, son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Anna Lee Cambron Zimmerman, he was a stationary engineer for 32 years with the City of St. Louis. He was a U.S. Navy aviation ordinanceman in the Korean War. A member of the Assembly of God Church in Scott City, he was also a member of Harold O. Grauel Masonic Lodge 672 in Cape Girardeau, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Capaha Scottish Rite Club of Southeast Missouri, Sword of Bunker Hill Andrew Jackson Order 43 in Jackson and Operating Engineers Local 2 in St. Louis.

On April 7, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., he married Willa Lee Swindell who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Zimmerman of Fenton and Daniel Zimmerman of Scott City; one brother, Douglas Zimmerman of Spokane, Wash.; and two grandchildren.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. Thursday until time for a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City. The Rev. Randy Morse will officiate.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
