Resident turns 100

SIKESTON -- Vastie Griffin celebrated her 100th birthday Dec. 5 with her children, Annie Griffin of Sikeston and Johnny Griffin of Detroit, Mich.; her sister, Mary Jackson of Detroit; and grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends.

Griffin is a resident at the Clearview Nursing Center.
