SIKESTON - Thelma Lorraine Sissom Johnson, 80, died Jan. 3, 2004, at her home.

Born March 1, 1923, in Caledonia, daughter of the late John Hughes and Pearl Virginia Hicks Grenia, she was of the Church of God belief. Before retiring she had been employed by Guaranteed Homes in California, the Walnut Wood Factory in St. Louis and the Grecian Steak House in Sikeston.

She was first married to Henry Casper Sissom and later married Henderson Anderson Sissom, who both preceded her in death. She was then married to Jerome Johnson and he died April 6, 1989.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Carol Sissom of Sacramento, Calif.; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Virginia and Lonny Cummings of Madison, Calif., Darlene and Dennis Killough and Geraldine Rodreguez of Woodland, Calif., Lillie and Lowell Curtis of Cedartown, Ga., and Helen and Tommy Beeson of Sikeston; one brother, William Grenia of Witt, Ill.; four sisters, Evalee Myers of Woodland, Lillian Shy of St. Charles and Mary Williams and Dorothy Barr of California; and 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two sons, Norman Leo Sissom and Wayne Sissom; and one sister, Erline Vestal.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday.

Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery.
