Accident reported

EAST PRAIRIE -- A two-vehicle accident resulted in minor injuries for an East Prairie resident Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 1:04 a.m., an accident occurred in Mississippi County on Missouri Highway 105 at Highway 102 as northbound motorist Gary D. Sterling, 35, of East Prairie struck the vehicle driven by Christy L. Salyer, 25, of East Prairie in the rear.

Sterling's passenger, Steven R. Sterling, 39, of East Prairie was taken by EMS to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
