Lois Patterson

VICTORIA, Texas - Lois Ann Dismuke Patterson, 63, died May 23, 2003, in Bastrop.

Born May 16, 1940, in Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late Bardis C. and Jo Ann Ewing Dismuke Sr., she had been a nurse at the Silver Pines Nursing Home.

Survivors include: one daughter, Leda Jo Smith of Deer Park; four sons, Samuel Dean Patterson Jr. and John David Patterson of Victoria, Thomas Jonathan Patterson Jr. of Wharton and Teman Jonathan Patterson II of Rosharon; one brother, Bardis C. Dismuke Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and a special friend, Charles Gilman.

A memorial service was conducted at 10 a.m. today at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bryant Clark and the Rev. Jim Fox officiating.
