Samuel Bowman

PUEBLO, Colo. -- Samuel S. Bowman, 90, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Feb. 25, 2005, at the Presbyterian Towers in Pueblo.

Born Feb. 5, 1915, in Sikeston, son of the late Ila Mae and Samuel Bowman Sr., he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Texaco Oil Co.

Survivors include: three sons, Samuel Bowman III of Gallatin, Tenn., David Bowman of Boston, Mass., Philip Bowman of Gillette, Wyo., and their families; and three grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His remains were cremated, and graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sikeston Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
