Pattengill - Lefler

SIKESTON -- Linda Pattengill and Danny Dale Lefler exchanged wedding vows in a 7 p.m. ceremony June 25, 2005, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Jerry Adams performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mary E. Simms of Scott City and the late Virble Simms, and her husband is the son of Dottye Lefler of Morley and the late George Doyle Lefler.

Music for the occasion was provided by singers Danielle Lefler, daughter of the bridegroom, and Donielle Howell, niece of the bride, and pianist Jeanette Hartlein, friend of the bride.

Justin Pattengill and Brandin Pattengill escorted their mother down the aisle. Maid of honor was Kathy Ray Layton, friend of the bride. Jimmy Doyle Lefler served his father has best man.

Candle lighter was Sara Hicks, daughter of the bridegroom. Carly Howell, niece of the bride, read a poem during the ceremony.

Jessica Pattengill, daughter-in-law, of the bride was the wedding planner/

photographer.

On June 24, the couple hosted a "Get to the Know the Family" dinner at their home in Sikeston.
