Speakout 4/23

Friday, April 23, 2004

I read in SpeakOut where a "Neighbor in need" is looking for a lift chair. I have one. I don't know if it will meet your needs or not, but leave your number in SpeakOut if you are interested and I will call you. I am home late evenings.

The girl from Wisconsin should spend a year in jail. If not, there will be other unpopular girls trying to get on TV.

I need to call in a clarification. The Sikeston Regional Medical Center administrator is Kim Crites. Also above her is the deputy director, Kent Spaulding in Jefferson City. Anyone who has questions can call 472-5300 and they can connect you with the Poplar Bluff office or Spaulding's office. Sorry, caller. The information we printed was from your website. Thanks for correcting the error. We could not print the rest of your comment because of severe static in the phone connection. Please call again.

Hipaa (Health Information Privacy Act Agreement) is a rule that should be honored by everyone. It's information that is confidential. To everyone who has mentioned my name or my residents' names in casual conversation in a public setting where I'm hearing adverse information, it is not appreciated. We will file claims against each and every one of you if it doesn't stop today. That does include going from provider to provider or resident to resident or to a day program, etc., in mentioning my name or anyone's name in my home. This has to stop. This is a final warning. The issue will be taken up with an attorney in the courts and you will be subpoenaed, each and every one of you.

Someone asked how to clean a white color on a brightly colored dress. I had a similar problem once and just treated it with liquid dishwasher detergent. It worked for me. Good luck.
