Irene Tickner

SELSEY, England - Irene Clara King Forbes Tickner, 92, died June 2, 2007.

Born Nov. 3, 1916, in England, the daughter of the late Frank G. and Agnes King, she was a retired caterer.

On Sept. 14, 1936, in London, she married Leonard Forbes, who preceded her in death. In 1980, she married George Tickner, who survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Susan Hook of England and Janet Hinson of Morehouse, Mo.; and four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 29 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston.
