They smeared me

I don't know how to explain my situation, but only in a plain manner. About two years ago my life changed, it went from heaven to hell. My daughter and I were doing real good. I had a good job, good money and we were happy. Then one day I was falsely accused of some horrible crimes at my work. After about three long drawn out years I felt my prayers were answered. When the accuser confessed of lying, it was over I thought. Then out of nowhere I was hit again some six years later. Someone from the government decided to put my name on the computer. I lost my job. Every job I apply for, they say no way. We have lost everything due to this. Lawyers have been trying and no one has been able to clear my name and give me my life back due to the government. Not only do I suffer, but so does my little girl. I was falsely accused, the judge can confirm this and I don't know what else to do. Please pray for us and someone please help.

I would just like to say a few words to Sheriff Ferrell. Sheriff Ferrell, you will always be Sheriff Ferrell of Scott County. There is a lot of us here that have been here for many, many years. Even though you didn't know we were behind you, we were. My whole family was behind you even though you didn't know it. We will always be behind you and we will always love you. It is not back in the 1700s Salem witchcraft and that's what this looked like. Ferrell as sheriff was always a good one. I've known him as a good Christian man for many years. After he retired, someone just wanted to throw dirt on his term and it was wrong. Stop the Salem witchcraft trials. A good man is a good man. There needs to be apologies written and said and they need to be put in the paper. ML

This is to the bus driver who comes down Edmondson Street in the morning and afternoon. You need to slow the bus down. You are going to kill somebody if you don't.

Someone had asked in SpeakOut to repeat the home method for moles. This was in your Sunday Jan. 21, 2007 paper. This is Jerry Baker's recipe. 1 1/2 tablespoons of hot sauce, 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 quart of water. Simply pour the tonic in the mole run ways and they will run away.

The sign says three may take a helicopter at the Sikeston Airport for $80. Is there a price for two? What is the time limit on the rides? What are the available hours? I think this could be an added attraction for Sikeston.

Helicopter rides are not available. Rides are available in a Cessna 172, an airplane that will seat four people, including the pilot. The price is the same whether one or three take the flight, which lasts for 15-20 minutes. The airport will provide you with a pilot's telephone number to schedule at your convenience. You may reach the airport at 471-9056.
