CHARLESTON - Rose Katherine Conroy Bryant, 94, died at 8:25 a.m. March 12, 2005, at the Miner Nursing Center.

Born March 14, 1910, in Chicago, to the late James and Rose Ann Brady Conroy, she has lived most of her life in Charleston where she was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church.

On Nov. 19, 1928, she married William Clyde "Cutter" Bryant, who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1971.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jo Ann Dorsett Fort of Morton, Ill.; one sister, Helen Conroy of Redford, Mich.; one sister-in-law, Virginia Conroy of Farmington, Mich.; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Bryant of St. Louis; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Three sons, John Edward Bryant, Oliver Bryant and William "Billy" Bryant; one daughter, Carol Bryant; two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from noon today until time for services at 2 p.m. at the St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston. Monsignor Stephen Schneider, V.G., pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
