SpeakOut 10/8

Call 471-6636

I just saw Patton and he's talked to the preacher and he's redeemed. He's sniffled and he cried. Now he needs to have a prayer breakfast and get his Bible and start packing his Bible and another Bill Clinton. I think they should kick him out of office. He had a family, he knew better. The best thing to do is to get rid of some of these crooks in office who can't keep their pants zipped up.

I would like to answer the SpeakOut comment, "Surely you jest." I cannot believe that anyone would publish that in the paper or that anyone would call in there to say it is fine to kill ladies or old people. People like that are the ones who need to be on the ballot and they are the ones who need to be taken care of. Not our kids, babies or old people.

I am an in-home caregiver. I help take care of some of the old-timers the caller so rudely talked about. I can't believe a person would say there should be a ballot that would get rid of old people or babies. It would take a sick minded person to say that. They need a ballot to vote on people like you to be destroyed and we wouldn't have to be afraid of sick-minded people anymore.

This is to the Sept. 25 paper about Ferguson Medical Group suing Dr. Helfrich. I totally agree with you but there is a lot more to the story than what you know.

I am calling about the news articles concerning Dr. Helfrich's lawsuit. I don't know why everyone seems so concerned. He is a very intelligent, caring doctor. I'm sure he read his contract and I'm sure he had an attorney to read the contract, which he then signed. The problem is that since the doctor signed the contract, which is a lawful, binding agreement and he should follow what he put his name to, the same as any other individual would be required to do under law.

Which driver's license bureau in Missouri issues drivers license that are not printed out by the machine they have down here, but at the college, you print your own name and the rest is made out if the machine printed it. Are those phony driver's licenses or real?

I would like to SpeakOut about the Cotton Carnival. It's supposed to be a time for family to get together and have fun. I couldn't believe it when this year's arm band night was $15! I remember when it was $8. It will be $20 next. What do they think this is, Six Flags?

I'm letting all the churches know that a movie is coming out in theaters at Cape Girardeau called "Time Changers" and all the Christian people and everybody needs to go see it because it is a Christian movie. The more people who go see it will show its success and the movie producers will make more Christian movies.

I am calling about how Sikeston football fans got up and left when they were losing to Dexter on Sept. 20. That's really supporting the school and team, isn't it? How sad that they can't stand to lose but don't think enough of their own team that they can't stay until the end of the game. I'm not from either school but witnessed this and I really feel sorry for the Sikeston team. Hip-hip hooray for Dexter.
