Noranda will purchase power from Ameren Corp.

MARSTON - Noranda Aluminum Co. Inc. has reached an agreement with Ameren Corporation on the purchase of power.

Top officials from the company were meeting today with state officials to describe the agreement between the companies. Among those attending will be William H. Brooks, president of Noranda Aluminum Inc., and Keith Gregston president and general manager of Noranda Aluminum Inc's products division at New Madrid, and Gary L. Rainwater, chairman, president and CEO of Ameren. Also attending will be State Senator Peter Kinder and State Representatives Peter Myers, Lanie Black and Rob Mayer.
