JEFFERSON CITY - Emily Gail Pickett, 54, died at 2:30 a.m. March 18, 2002, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Born March 3, 1948, in Bell City, daughter of Lynn May Jones Deimund of Scott City and the late Leonard Lester Workman, she was a clinical assistant for Dr. Joseph Kayser in Jefferson City.

On Nov. 29, 1966, in Scott City, she married Dale Pickett who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Terence Pickett of Jefferson City; one brother, Eddie Workman of Scott City; and three sisters, June DeLay of Sikeston, Velda Anderson of Morley and Dottie Jungers of Scott City.

One brother, Sonny Workman, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Larry Lawman, officiating.

Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
