Virginia Healy

MATTHEWS - Virginia Dare Healy, 84, died at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 12, 2001, at Sells Rest Home.

Born April 19, 1917, at Grafton, W.Va., daughter of the late William D. and Estella Kyer Webb, she was a secretary for Duncan Foundry in Alton, Ill., for many years and was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church in Alton.

In 1941, she married Alfred Albert Healy who preceded her in death on July 27, 1982.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter and three brothers.

Survivors include: one son, Alfred Healy of Bedford, Maine; one sister, Neva Myers of Charleston, West Va.; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Meeks, pastor of the First General Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial followed in the Hillcrest Burial Park in Cumberland, Md.
