SIKESTON - Louis Adam Bolden, 79, died at 4:11 p.m. Aug. 4, 2004, at his home.

Born Nov. 10, 1924, in Sikeston, son of the late Henry M. and Frances "Frannie" Rausch Bolden, he was a bookkeeper for Limbaugh Construction. A lifelong resident of Sikeston, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 368 AF&AM.

On June 30, 1943, in Sikeston, he married Wanda Maxine Baker who preceded him in death on May 23, 2003.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ed Pratt of Sikeston; one sister, Betty Chronister of Jonesboro, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Scott Price of St. Louis, Gregg Price, Coeta Williams and Carla Ellison of Sikeston, Angela Howe of Springfield, Ill., Denise Mayberry of Bernie and Lynnette Pratt of Fort Myers, Fla.; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were one daughter, Connie Campbell, on Nov. 13, 1995; and five brothers and one sister.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Johnathan Cooney, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston and the Rev. Robert Sneed, pastor of Bird's Corner Assembly of God Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Greg Mayberry, Scott Price, Gregg Price, Gary Williams, David Bolden, Mike Chronister and Kelly Howe.
