BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Dorothy Mae Springs, 83, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died March 10, 2008, at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa.

She was born June 26, 1924, in Sikeston, to the late Posey F. and Effie Dabbs Clay. She retired from International Shoe Company and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sikeston.

On March 15, 1946, in Parma, Mo., she married George Springs, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 1992.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Ron Cranick of Broken Arrow; two sisters-in-law, Florence Clay and Betty Clay of Sikeston; two granddaughters and their spouses, Tonia and Jeff Scoville of Broken Arrow and Melissa and Bryan Perryman of Owasso; two great-grandsons, Nicholas Scoville of Broken Arrow and George Perryman of Owasso; two great-granddaughters, Lauren Scoville of Broken Arrow and Annabelle Perryman of Owasso; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Jim Davis, former pastor of First United Methodist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Chuck Chism, John Scarbrough, Charles David Springs, Ken Shields, Harold Springs and Charles Campbell.
