Pauline Stricker

JACKSON - Pauline E. Stricker, 95, formerly of Gordonville, died Nov. 14, 2001, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

Born March 31, 1906, at North Sudbury, Mass., daughter of the late Alfred and Mabel Provost Beauregard, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Ann's Sodality and the Legion of Mary.

On Nov. 8, 1927, in Charleston, she married Albert G. Stricker who preceded her in death on June 11, 1981.

Survivors include: three daughters, Alberta Duchek of St. Louis, Agnes Boitnott of Jackson and Judy Taylor of Arnold; two sons, Charles Stricker of Marion, Ill., and Jim Stricker of Lakeland, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by twin sons and one sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson where parish prayers are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at Charleston.
