Call 471-6636

I'd like to comment on the "Comments on comments?" Say what????

The caller was commenting on an earlier comment - hence, "Comments on comments."

A 13-year-old girl called SpeakOut, wanting to find work. We are just curious about her situation. She can call me at 481-9896.

I found this in a very old Bible. I think if we will remember these things, it may make the holiday season go a lot better. "There will be so many people trying to take their lives - God said, 'No.' I asked God to take away my pride - he said, 'No. It's not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.' I asked God to make the handicapped child whole. God said, 'No.' Her spirit was whole, but her body only had temporary presence. I asked God to grant me patience. God said, 'No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulation. It isn't granted; it is earned.' I asked God to give me happiness. God said, 'No. I gave you blessings and it's up to you to be happy.' I asked God to spare me pain. God said, 'No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.' I asked God to make my spirit glow. God said, 'You must grow on your own. But I will be there and make you fruitful.' I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, 'No. I will give you life so that you might enjoy all things.' I asked God to help me love others as much as he loves me. God said, 'Ha ha. Finally, you have the idea." If we can just remember these things.
