James Stull

ST. ANN - James Winzelo Stull, 72, died at 12:35 a.m. Oct. 27, 2003, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.

Born Jan. 17, 1931, in Gideon, son of the late Elvis D. and Omaleen Havens Stull, he was a warehouse foreman at Hussman Refrigeration and for Emerson Electric in St. Louis before retiring. He served two years in Germany with the U.S. Army. A member of the First Baptist Church of St. John's in St. Louis, he served as a councilman for Breckenridge Hills. Stull was also a coach for a men's church softball league for many years.

On Nov. 1, 1952, at Cape Girardeau, he married Mildred Marie Senn who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, James A. Stull of St. Louis; three daughters, Kathy Holland of St. Peters, Chereyl Osborne of Jackson and Pam Lueker of St. Louis; five brothers, John Stull of O'Fallon, Ill., Therma Stull of Cape Girardeau, Bob Stull of Benton, Bill Stull of Scott City and Donald Stull of Jackson; two sisters, Arletta Washburn and Betty Doria of Scott City; one half brother, Paul Stull of Manila, Ark.; and nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Keith Snyder will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.

Pallbearers will be: John Stull, David Crites, Therma Stull, Bill Stull, Bob Stull and Donald Stull.
