Ray goes 4-4 in leading Sikeston Motors to win

SIKESTON -- Results of Thursday's games in Sikeston Area Youth Baseball were as follows.

SIX-YEAR-OLD LEAGUE

Dakota Ray enjoyed a perfect day at the plate with two doubles and two singles, as did Sikeston Motors' teammates Colson Frakes and Wyn Roberds with three hits each.

Connor Merideth and McKenzie Worth had three hits in three at-bats for First National and Gavin Moore went 2-for-3 with a triple.

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Taylor Pyland went 3-for-3 with a home run, Austin Byrd was 3-for-3 with a triple and Paul Ruff also stroked three hits for Irrigation Central, which scored four runs in its final at-bat.

Zach Harrison (3-for-3) rapped two triples and Riley Stark also went 3-or-3 for Silver. Chase Kaminsky had two hits.

Andrea Burks, Colton Black, Brandon Housman and Kevin Jobe paced Randy's win with two hits each.

Dylan Mason had two safeties for Dairy Queen.

A four-run second-inning uprising spelled the difference for Fabrite.

Colton Hampton and Drew Conn led the winners with two hits each, while Caleb Dannenmueller had two hits, including a triple for First Midwest.

MUSIAL LEAGUE

Trey Tigart clubbed a home run and struck out 10 and Brandon Goodwin ripped two hits to lead Noffel.

Taylor Scott had two hits for Kirby's.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Brady Culver, Blake Hurt and Blake Newman combined to hold SAS to a single run.

Ross Bohannon and Newman led KSIM's offense with three hits in three trips, while Hurt added two hits. Tanner Bryant homered for KSIM.

Zach Partin had two hits for SAS.

Burger King broke a tie game by striking for 10 runs in its final at-bat.

Kai Lambert pitched the win and James Naile had three hits for Burger King.

Ronnie Pyland topped the Legion hitters with two hits.

JUNIOR BABE RUTH

Tyler Dame tossed the shutout. Scott Droddy, Dame and Tew had RBIs for Noranda.

Stan Ivie homered, J. Winfield tripled and Strick Green and Clayton Mayfield doubled to lead U.S. Bank

Tim Bell had a double for Market Place.
