SIKESTON -- Towanda Renee Lane and Lincoln Alfonso Avery Jr. have announced their engagement.

The future bride is employed by Burns and Taylor LLC in Sikeston and the prospective bridegroom is employed by C&F Foods Incorporated.

Wedding plans are under way for a July 5 ceremony.
