SIKESTON - Margaret Nell Cox, 51, died Jan. 12, 2005, at the Cancer Research Center in Zion, Ill.

Born May 15, 1953, in Sikeston, daughter of Shirley Baker McClellon of Sikeston and the late Johnny Whitaker, she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sikeston. She was a human research developer for the Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation.

On Feb. 23, 1989, she married James Lee Cox who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: three sons, Darrell Gene Little and Terrance Damon Little of Pontiac, Mich., and Courtney Tarel Little of Sikeston; one stepson, Kenny King of Columbia; three stepdaughters, Felecia Howard of Sikeston, Jennifer Cox of Jefferson City and Jessica Cox of Columbia; seven brothers, Henry Morell Baker and Sherman L. Baker of Chicago and Michael C. Baker, Marvin J. Baker, Ivan C. Baker, Cortez Baker and Stafford W. McClellon of Sikeston; three sisters, Wanda E. Baker and Sherra B. Baker of Sikeston and Joyce Marshall of the state of California; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at 3 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Steven Fields will officiate.
