SpeakOut 9/9

Call 471-6636

I want to SpeakOut about homosexuality. A lot of people have said in SpeakOut they don't think it's wrong. There are six place in the Bible that says it is wrong: Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13; Romans 1:27; I Corinthians 6:7; I Timothy I:10; and Jude verse 7. Leviticus 20:13 says, "If a man also lies with mankind as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be put upon them."

I got a chuckle when I read the SpeakOut about "Safe drivers." The caller said if a person has to park in a handicapped space and has trouble walking they must also have trouble driving. Some people have problems with their left leg that does not affect their driving. Have you thought of that? We only have one accelerator and use one foot and two hands to drive with. Walking and driving are two different things. With automatic transmissions, we only have to use one leg to drive with.

The other day I saw a child climbing a tree with a knife in his mouth (the knife had at least a 10-inch blade on it). I don't think the mother was home because the car was gone. Does this mother not care what her kids play with? No, because she is more concerned with what is going on with her neighbors. This child looks to be about 8 or so. To the mother of this child, who are you going to blame if your child falls out of the tree and gets stabbed? You should blame no one but your stupid self for allowing your child to play with items like this.

It's a shame that people are lazy. I live close to a family that is so lazy that they "Round-Up" all their grass instead of using a weed-eater. They have two-feet-tall weeds that are dead all the way around their house and along a pig fence that is used as a decorative fence in the front yard. This looks tacky. These people allow their kids to play with lighters and magnifying glasses outside. It has been very hot and dry the last several weeks. Before you know it, poof! Up in smoke! Will someone please tell me who I can call to report this to before the whole neighborhood goes up in smoke?

Call your city police or county sheriff's department.

To the old bag who sits outside on her porch and takes pictures of people, I would hate to know that all I had to do was to sit outside and take pictures of people who have lives. Apparently this is all you have to do, because look at your messy yard with 3-foot weeds, mold all over the house and trash piled up to a gate just to keep it closed. If the outside of your home looks like this, I would hate to see the inside. Sounds like you have plenty to do, so do it and get your big nose out of our business.

To the neighbor in Miner who can't get along with anyone and who always has her nose stuck in everyone else's business, we all have one word for you. Move.

I'm glad to say that the police officers in Miner are not your typical stereotype police officers. These are people who want a safe and friendly community. They will actually stop and take the time to say "Hi" to their fellow citizens if they see them out in their yards when they drive by. These officers take time to check on our neighborhoods to make sure not just you, but your kids, have a safe place to play, sleep and live. Get to know these officers. Let your kids get to know these officers and everyone will live in a better place.

Why would someone want to put up a pig fence in a nice neighborhood? Well, if you saw where she lived before, you would know. All you are doing is trying to bring a nice neighborhood down to your level. It won't happen.
