Robert McKinney

MARSTON - Robert McKinney, 88, died Oct. 3, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 6, 1914, in Como, Miss., he lived in Missouri for more than 43 years. He was of the Baptist belief and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lora Thomas of Lilbourn and Carol Triblett of Sikeston; two stepdaughters, Delores Burton of St. Louis and Ann Duncan of Marston; one stepson, J.D. Verner of Lilbourn; and seven grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Thursday until service time at noon at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Howardville. The Rev. William Jones of St. Louis will officiate.

The Missouri Military Funeral Honor Guard will conduct graveside military rites at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
