Peggy Brown

SIKESTON - Peggy Brown, 68, formerly of Dunklin County, died June 24, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 6, 1939, at Holcomb, daughter of the late Raymond and Melissa James Samples, she was a homemaker.

On April 2, 1955, in Hernando, Miss., she married Denver Brown, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, John and Regina Brown of Dexter; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Earlene and Tom Barnett and Sherry and Tim Newel all of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren and five great-

grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: one son, Randy Brown; and three brothers, Walter Samples, L.J. Samples and Charles Samples.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Blake Tiemann officiating.
