Wayne Beaird

HIGHLANDVILLE - Wayne Beaird, 57, formerly of Sikeston, died Feb. 25, 2004, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

Born April 2, 1946, in Parma, son of the late Russell Andrew and Mabel Frances Butler Beaird, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Beaird Quality Homes and attended the Nixa Assembly of God Church.

On July 2, 1965, he married Marilyn Kay Carter who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Neil Kwiatkowski of Highlandville, Shannon and Brian Coleman of Moberly and Mandy and Donnie Bennett of Ozark; one son, Russell Beaird of Nixa; one sister, Windola Howerton of Mesa, Ariz.; and 13 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were one sister, Donzella Hutchason; and one grandson, Brandon Louis Coleman.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Adams Funeral Home in Nixa with the Rev. Don Blansit officiating.

Graveside military rites will be conducted at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in near Springfield.

Pallbearers will be: Russell Beaird, Donnie Bennett, Neil Kwiatkowski, Brian Coleman, Mike Carter and Joe Carter.
