PEORIA, Ill. - MaryJo L. Icenogle, 67, died at 6:50 p.m. July 5, 2003, at the Methodist Medical Center.

Born Jan. 16, 1936, in Sikeston, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lambert and Leona Nelson Newton. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in East Peoria and was a seamstress for Peoria Tent Awning for 10 years.

On Nov. 24, 1959, in Chisago City, Minn., she married Donald L. Icenogle who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory D. and Donna Icenogle of Silver Springs, Md., Michael G. and Becky Icenogle of Middlesburg, Fla., and Randell D. and VeLinda Icenogle of East Peoria; one daughter, L. Renee Icenogle of Peoria; one sister, Betty Jaynes of Chaffee, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.

One brother preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Gary Watkins, officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Trivoli, Ill.

Valley Funeral and Cremation Service of Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
