Mary Boyet

MATTHEWS -- Mary Magdalene Boyet, 80, formerly of Gideon, died July 21, 2005, at Sells Nursing Home in Matthews.

Born July 12, 1925, in Wibaux, Mont., to the late Elton Luther and Mary Magdalene Bistrum Bolser, she was a homemaker and member of the Potter House in Sikeston.

On July 3, 1945, in Spokane, Wash., she married Raymond C. Boyet who preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1992.

She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and two grandchildren.

Survivors include: three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth Vaughn of French Village, Donnie Boyet of Portageville and Clyde and Jane Boyet of St. Louis; two daughters and a son-in-law, Katherine and Namon Pearson of Sikeston and Bonnie Abney of Poplar Bluff; two sisters; and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Sunday at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. The Rev. John Givens officiated.

Burial followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
